The specifications and price of the laptop have been revealed on the government’s e-marketplace (GeM) portal.

The 2GB laptop is priced at Rs 19,500.

The JioBook notebook will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Series processor. The new Jio laptop will come with a 4G SIM card. And most importantly, this laptop will be the cheapest among all laptops in the market. This affordable Chromebook laptop costs around Rs. 15,000 will be made available.

According to a Reuters report, the JioBook will be a 4G-enabled laptop and will be launched at an entry-level price of around Rs 15,000. With this price tag, it is expected that Jio aims to repeat the success of JioPhone in India once again. JioPhone has been one of the best-selling entry-level phones ever since its launch.

Let us tell you that Reliance Jio has partnered with Qualcomm and Microsoft for JioBook. This means that the device will support some apps and will feature a Snapdragon processor. It has been confirmed from the demo booth at IMC 2022 that the JioBook will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor. Apart from this, the report said that the laptop will be made available for sale this month for business and general customers. The laptops will first be available to schools and government institutions this month.
