Subject: Regarding the planning and implementation of the first examination of Std. 09 to 12

STD 9 TO 12 EXAM PARIKSHA AYOJAN & TIME TABLE
Schools will have to conduct the first examination of standard 9 to 12 from 18/10/2021 to 27/10/2021. Gujarati (FL / SL) for Std. 9 and 10, Mathematics, Science and Social Sciences, English (FL / SL) for Std. 11 and 12 Science streams, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics as well as Std. 11 and 12 for general stream English (FA / SL), Nama Basics, Commercial System, Psychology, Economics and Statistics subject question papers and timetable will be prepared here by Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Gandhinagar.
To state under the above subject with Jayabharat dated 06/09/2021 that the subjects referred to as per reference (1) from the academic year - 2020-21 by Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education for Std. Question papers and timetable of unit test and first examination, second examination (prelim examination) as well as annual examination of standard 9 and 11 will be sent to the district level by the board every month. Apart from that, the above test / examination question papers and timetable of subjects will have to be fixed at the local level. Pursuant to the reference letter
(3), according to the academic calendar of the academic year 2061-9, the schools have to take the first examination of Std. 9 to 12 in the current year from 16/10/2071 to 8/10/2071. Thus, all the schools recognized by the Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (Government Granted / Private) will have to carry out the planning keeping in view the following instructions regarding the aforesaid first examination.
Instructions:
> Schools should conduct the first examination of Std. 9 to 12 from 16/10/2071 to 8/10/2071.
> Resolution No. of Education Department: As per BMSH / 1120/12 / Six dated 16/08/2050 for Std. 9 and 10 in Gujarati (FL / SL), Mathematics, Science and Social Sciences, Std. 11 and 12 Science Stream in English (EL / SL), Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics as well as English (FL / sL) for Std. 11 and 12 General Stream, Nama Basics.
Examination question papers and timetable for Commerce, Psychology, Economics and Statistics subjects will be prepared here by Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Gandhinagar.
> For Std. 9 to 12, question papers and timetable of subjects other than those mentioned in the above issue (for which question papers will not be prepared by the board) will have to be prepared at school level / svs level.
> The timetable prepared by the Board for the first examination is included in the enclosure (1). Accordingly, the date and time prescribed by the Board for the prescribed subjects will have to be planned and implemented uniformly throughout the State.
> Planning for subjects other than this will have to be decided at SVS level. E.g. The date and time for the subjects prescribed by the Board for Std-12 Science stream has been indicated and the remaining subjects will have to arrange the subjects as per their plan in the box “Xxx”.
Examination of subjects held by the student in the subject group other than the question papers prepared by the Board in the subject group where the "xxxx" mark is indicated at the school level at SVS level. Curry subjects should be included in the schedule.
> Regarding the first examination of the subjects to be taken by the Board, a Nodal Officer (Class-II) should be appointed from the District Education Officer level. And will be considered as the Nodal Officer for the 11th Annual Examination. The Nodal Officer will have to instruct the SVS Convener to create a confidential e-mail address which will be used only for testing / examination purposes only.
> Sealed soft copy of question papers in Gujarati / Hindi / English (GHE) language of the subjects mentioned in the resolution of the education department will be given in person to the nodal officer of all the districts on 05/10/2071 15 days before the examination. For this meeting of nodal officers and to accept question paper to be present at the office of the board on 11/10/2071 at 11:00 hrs.
> For the first examination of the subjects prescribed by the Board, only the papers prepared by the Board shall be used, other question papers may not be used. As well as prescribed by the Board
The first test of subjects will have to follow the schedule fixed by the board. It cannot be modified locally.
- The question papers of the first test of Std. 9th to 1st will be prepared by the board as per the question paper of the prescribed first examination and corresponding to the syllabus from June to September. The reduced 20% syllabus of the year 2020-21 is not to be considered but 100% syllabus for the month of June to September has to be considered. For Std. 9th to 11th (all streams) and Std. 12 general stream, U.U. basic stream and business oriented stream there will be 50% objective questions and 303 descriptive questions. While for Std-12 Science stream there will be 90% MCQ and 50% descriptive questions (as per the format of the question paper prescribed by the board),
> Std-09, Std-11 general stream / Science stream question paper will be 50 marks and time will be 04 hours. While the question paper of standard 10 will be 20 marks and the time will be 08 hours. And Std-12 Science stream / general stream question papers will be 100 marks and time will be 03 hours.
* Question papers other than the subject mentioned in the resolution of the education department, the question papers of which will not be sent by the board) have to be prepared as per the format of the first examination of the board and the question papers of that subject have to be prepared at sys / district level. As mentioned in issue no. 11 of the resolution of the education department dated 17/02/2020, the district education officer has to print the question papers and send them to the schools and the institutions (schools) will have to pay the expenses.
That an examination committee will have to be constituted at the district level for unit tests and examinations to be held for the first / second annual examination. So that uniformity, privacy and order are maintained in the management.
In this committee, the education service will not be below the rank of class-II (total-3) officer, accounting officer (class-3 / class-3) and who will be a distinguished educationist member of the district. Which will be chaired by the District Education Officer. Thus a committee of five members will have to be formed. This committee will be responsible for guiding and supervising the entire proceedings regarding all the unit tests of Std. 9 to 12, first and second examinations as well as such ed and implementation of the annual examinations of Std. 9 and 11.
In all Sanskrit schools of the state also monthly unit tests, first examination, second examination and annual examination (annual examination of first-1 and middle-1) of all students of first-1, first-2, middle-1 and middle-3. Accordingly, it will have to be taken at the school level as well as its basic proof form test marks and answer book documents will have to be preserved at the school level.
Thus, all secondary and higher secondary schools (science stream, general stream, postgraduate stream and vocational stream) accredited by G.M.A. The first examination of all the related subjects should be held as per this circular from 19/10/2071 to 9/10/2021 and the marks sheet and answer book documents of the planned first examination should be kept at the school level.
In pursuance of this circular, the District Education Officer is requested to carry out proper management procedures and planning.
