The following is the detailed program for conducting departmental examination of Assistant Education Inspector and Assistant Teacher and District Education Inspector, Extension Officer (Education) and Education Inspector Class-3 of the Panchayat cadre in the secondary services of class-3 of the research department.

Passing standard:
Candidate is required to get 50% marks for passing in each paper.
Time table showing the last date for sending applications:
Candidates should print out the application forms filled online and submit a copy along with the required grounds at the office of the designated officer as per the details given in the time table given below.

The center of this examination will be kept at Ahmedabad or Gandhinagar.
Important Notices for Candidates:
- Forms sent directly by the candidate to the State Examination Board will be considered canceled.
- The candidate should be included in the full salary in that category.
- The candidate has to send the application form to the concerned officer within the prescribed time limit indicated in the schedule.
- Candidates have to send the coin signed by the head of the office on their application form to the concerned officer.
- The syllabus of the examination subjects will be as per the appendix - "A" of the declaration of the education department dated 21/12/2012
- The candidate will be able to use the books published by the government in all the question papers of this examination in the examination room. Government
- Xerox copies of government books published by the publication can be certified. Related course
- The matter may be accompanied by certified copies of resolutions / declarations / acts etc. issued by the Government from time to time.
- Books / references from private publications cannot be used which means that such literature cannot be brought in the examination room.
- Such books will have to be arranged by the candidate himself. This arrangement will not be provided by the State Examination Board. Of which special note.
- Fees will not be refunded under any circumstances after the departmental examination is credited. 10. In many cases the number of exam opportunities is not shown in the form. Forms with incomplete details will be eligible for cancellation.

Important Notices for the Office of the Head of Office / Head of Department:
- The head of the office and the head of the department will have to inform this notification / examination to their employees.
- Application forms should be sent to the concerned office only after signing the required copies (signature-coins) in the application forms received from the office / subordinate offices.

Passing standard:
Candidate is required to get 50% marks for passing in each paper.
For repeater candidates:
- If the unsuccessful candidate has got 50% or more marks in one or more subjects / papers then he / she will be exempted for the next examination (Exemption) in such subjects papers.
- Such candidates will have to attach a copy of the certified marksheet of the examination along with the print of the application form for the subjects / papers of exemption available to them. It will also have to be mentioned in the form filled online. Submission of exemption after filling the application forms online will not be accepted.
Exam Opportunities and Exam Fees:
- Departmental Examination Candidates who have been appointed from the date of appointment and from direct recruitment will have to pass the examination in 3 years or 3 (three) opportunities whichever is earlier from the date of appointment in full pay in the job. But scheduled and scheduled Tribal candidates have to pass in 3 + 1 = 4 chances. Such candidates do not have to pay any examination fee till the prescribed time.
- If the candidate has not passed the departmental examination within the prescribed time limit and fixed opportunities as mentioned above, then such candidates have to pay the amount of personal examination fee (Rs. 200 / - + GST Rs. 36 / -) “= Rs. 236 / - Demand Draft in the name of Secretary State Examination Board, Gandhinagar ”should be taken out and attached with the print of the application form.
Examination Medium:
Each question paper will be in Gujarati language.
Exam Question Paper Structure:
- Each question paper will be of multiple choice (MCQ) type.
- Each question paper will have 100 questions. Each question will be of 1 mark. Thus there will be a total question paper of 100 marks.
- Answer book will be in OMR format. In which, out of the given options, the correct option has to be rounded.
- There will be no negative multiplication for wrong answer.
This exam will be taken offline by OMR method this year.
If a candidate sends his application form directly to the State Examination Board, it will be considered as cancellation.
Instructions on required bases / certificates:
- The following forms / certificates should be attached along with the print out of the application form filled online.
- Online application form (with the signature-coin of the head of the office on the certificate) + D.D. of examination fee. (If applicable)
- Certified copy of the marksheet of each previous attempt.
- Office order to include the candidate in full salary.
- A copy of the order issued by the authorized authority should be included if the age and employment limit has been relaxed.
How to apply online:
Only applications registered online by the State Examination Board in respect of this declaration will be accepted. Candidates will be able to fill up the application form on 27/06/2022 from 15.00 noon on 11/07/2022 at 11.59 hours (www.sebexam.org). The candidate has to follow the following steps to fill the application form.
- The entire form has to be filled in English.
- First go to www.sebexam.org.
- Click on Apply online.
- Click on Apply Now in front of # Departmental Examination (Class: 2). Clicking on Apply Now will show the Application Format. In the application format, first the requested information has to be filled. Now by clicking on Save, your data will be saved. Here, the application number of the candidate will be generated.
- Now click on Uploadphoto-Signature at the top of the page, type your Confirmation Number here and type your Birth Date then click on Submit. Here Photo and Signature are to be uploaded.
- To upload a photo and signature, first of all, your photo and signature must be in JPG format, not more than 15 KB in size in the computer. Click on Browse Button. Now from the screen of choose File in which file your Photo and Signature are stored in JPG format. Select that file and click Open Button. Now click on upload button next to Browse Button. Both Photo and Signature must be uploaded together. Now your Photo and Signature will appear next to it.
- Click on Confirm Application. Type your Application Number here and type your Birth Date then click on Submit.
- Click on Confirm only if there is no need to amend the application. Clicking on Confirm will accept the application of the candidate online in the board and only after that it will be considered valid.
- Now click on Print Application. Type your Confirmation Number here and type your Birth Date. Then click on Submit.
- Print Print and copy of your application form from here.
- Now on the print of the application form, the candidate has to send the form through the head of the office / head of the department as shown in his form table, by sending the signature of the head of the office / department on the certificates.
